Combining the unabashedly innovative spirit of education technology with the academic rigor and excellence of one of the nation’s top-ranked education schools, the Jefferson Education Accelerator aspires to bring transparency and a relentless focus on outcomes to evaluating and supporting the most promising education solutions.
Based in Virginia, with a nationwide focus, the Jefferson Education Accelerator will establish a network of educators, researchers, entrepreneurs and investors who believe in the potential of education technology, are dedicated to improving educational outcomes, and understand the rigors of testing implementations in the real-world.
The Jefferson Education Accelerator is committed to ensuring that its research and development program adheres to the highest standards of rigor, ethics, and transparency. This means that academic researchers from universities nationwide will adhere to all applicable scientific review, conflict of interest, transparency rules, policies, and best practices when they perform research on the companies we work with.
And because we are an independent organization, any research performed by Curry School faculty is subject to the same standards for rigorous ethics and conflict policies that applies to all research and researchers. Research conducted by Curry School faculty and researchers from universities nationwide will also be approved and overseen by an independent scientific advisory board to further ensure academic independence and the highest standards of integrity.
